“We had a great time! Cuba is very interesting, but so sad because there is no money for infrastructure to restore the beautiful architecture. Cruising is definitely the way to go, as you said. We were able to hop on and off the ship very easily. It docked in a perfect location for walking around the old part of Havana. Our excursion, which was a small group tour of Havana on a modern mini-bus, was excellent. The people were very friendly and, in most cases, spoke clear English. Frank and I aren’t too adventurous when it comes to food, so we played it safe and only ate on the ship. We did not do the famous Tropicana nightclub, but heard it was really good. The old cars were fun to see but there is some misinformation where tourists think that all the vehicles are vintage including the tour buses. The motor coaches associated with the ship are brand new and fully air conditioned. This was such a good introduction to Cuba. We would like to return and include Santiago next time. Thanks for arranging this trip!

I would definitely recommend the Francis Hotel in Bath and the St. Michaels Hotel in Falmouth as great places to stay. For St. Michaels, you might want to advise people interested in spa treatments to book in advance. We were there over a weekend, and the spa was fully booked (though you could still pay to take advantage of the pool, saunas, steam rooms, etc.). Also, it was a nice surprise that our package at St. Michaels included the cost of one dinner at the (very nice!) restaurant. Thank you again for all the great planning you did for us. Too bad we didn’t cross paths in Cesky Krumlov—it was a cute little town! We loved the trip to the Czech Republic and picking pictures to send to you isn’t easy! I know you have been to each of the spots we went to so I chose some that I thought might give you a glimpse of what the spirit of our trip was like. We loved the bike ride which took us by vineyards and into the little town of Durnstein, Austria (the Czech Republic’s southern neighbor.) It was fun to see Durnstein by land and then again as we passed by it on the Danube River cruise— two different perspectives. We had great weather the whole time. I think the cruise after us was going to have to deal with switching ships due to low river water levels. Viking was top-notch and took great care of us. We did close the lounge every night and felt pretty young while we were on the ship! Would love to share more and hear your latest travel stories when we are in Naples.”

“Our extended family enjoys taking vacations together as often as we can. The planning however can be quite a challenge, given the size of our group (15+) and the varied age ranges & interests. This year we decided on Key West but had no clue where to begin finding the right place for all of us to stay. In addition, most of us had not been to Key West so that made the planning even more difficult. We quickly decided that we needed professional help.
In stepped Baldwin Travel! Cindy was not only very familiar with Key West, but she also specializes in planning trips for large groups (much bigger than ours). After telling Cindy we preferred a non-hotel site that was walking distance to downtown, she went right to work looking for the right rental property that would meet our needs.
And did she ever succeed! Cindy found us the ideal rental property in a terrific section right on Duval Street. She got us the entire second floor of a newly renovated building that had 6 individual suites, each with a full kitchen, full bathroom and sleeping arrangements for 16. We also had a private pool in the back of the property. And the best part was we had the whole place to ourselves, just like a penthouse. We couldn’t have been happier with the location Cindy found for us and the fact that she did all of the arrangements for us.
